Job summary

Agrostar is seeking a proactive professional to lead end-to-end store expansion in India, identifying new markets, evaluating potential, and building a robust location pipeline. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely launches, manage costs, and support post-launch operations.

The role involves extensive travel, stakeholder engagement, and driving on-ground impact in the agricultural sector.

Qualifications

• Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, retail, field operations, or a similar role.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable with extensive travel and on-ground market visits.

Job description

ROLE

• – Manage end-to-end store expansion, including identifying new markets and locations, evaluating potential, building the location pipeline, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, managing launch costs and timelines, ensuring smooth store setup and launch, supporting the initial post‑launch phase, and tracking expansion progress and risks.
• – Conduct market and location feasibility assessments, evaluating farmer potential, competition, accessibility, rentals, and overall business viability.
• – Build and manage a pipeline of potential locations, working with internal stakeholders to evaluate, shortlist, and finalize sites.
• – Own store launch execution, coordinating with Operations, Procurement, Finance, People Practices, Branding, Projects, and other teams to ensure timely readiness.
• – Manage landlords, vendors, contractors, and local stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of commercial and operational requirements.
• – Prepare and track business cases, expansion costs, timelines, and budgets, ensuring launches are delivered within approved parameters.
• – Partner with the Store Operations team during the initial post‑launch phase, resolving operational gaps and ensuring stores are set up for successful performance.
• – Maintain expansion dashboards and regular reporting, proactively highlighting progress, risks, delays, and key decisions required to leadership.
