Job summary

Mekins Industries Private Limited is seeking a Store Executive/Store Officer to manage end-to-end warehouse and store operations at our Balanagar facility in India. You will oversee material movement from receipt to consumption, handle vendor/transport bill passing, and collaborate with senior leadership for smooth daily transactions.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Com preferred; any Bachelor's degree with relevant store experience.
• Experience: 25 years of hands-on store management experience in a manufacturing environment (Steel/Fabrication/Automotive preferred).
• Location: Candidates residing in or near Balanagar are preferred.
• Languages: Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Tech Skills: Proficient in MS Excel/Word and ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end store activities, including material receiving, inspection, storage, issue, and final consumption tracking.
• Process and verify vendor invoices and transport bills; coordinate material requirements with Production Manager and CEO.
• Log and track all inventory movements in the ERP system; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is desirable.

Job Overview

We are looking for a young, dynamic, and proactive Store Executive / Store Officer to manage end-to-end warehouse and store operations at our manufacturing facility in Balanagar. The ideal candidate will oversee material movement from receipt to consumption, handle vendor/transport bill passing, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure smooth daily transactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Store & Inventory Operations

• Manage end-to-end store activities, including material receiving, inspection, storage, issue, and final consumption tracking.
• Handle inventory management for all types of materials, raw steel, components, tools, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate records of day-to-day store transactions and stock registers.

2. Bill Passing & Documentation

• Process and verify incoming vendor invoices and transport bills against POs and material receipts.
• Coordinate directly with the Production Manager for material requirements and reconcile bill passing with the CEO.

3. ERP & Systems Management

• Log and track all inventory movements, receipts, and dispatch entries accurately in the computer system.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP systems is highly desirable.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: B.Com preferred; any Bachelors degree is acceptable with relevant store experience.

• Experience: 25 years of hands-on store management experience in a manufacturing environment (Steel/Fabrication/Automotive preferred).

• Location: Candidates residing in or near Balanagar (or willing to commute daily) are preferred.

• Languages: Fluent in English and Hindi.

• Tech Skills: Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Excel/Word) and hands-on experience with ERPs (Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage).
