Job summary

Mithash Bakery & Confectionery is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee day-to-day store operations, inventory, and procurement. You will manage receiving, stock issuance, GRN processing, and supplier coordination to ensure smooth production input flow.

The role requires strong MS Excel skills, knowledge of inventory software, and the ability to coordinate with production, QC, and accounts teams while maintaining strict FIFO/FEFO controls.

Qualifications

• 25+ years of experience? 23 years of experience specified: 23 years of experience in store management and purchasing, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Knowledge of inventory management, procurement and vendor coordination.
• Experience in stock reconciliation, purchase orders and GRN.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and inventory software.
• Good organisational, communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations: receiving, storing and issuing raw materials and packaging materials.
• Maintain inventory records, stock registers and material movement reports.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely availability of materials for production.
• Handle purchase orders, GRN and supplier coordination.
• Obtain vendor quotations, compare prices and follow up on deliveries.
• Conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO practices to minimise wastage and expiry-related losses.
• Coordinate with production, quality control and accounts departments.
• Ensure proper material storage, documentation and inventory control.
