Job summary

Rakesh Masala is seeking an Inventory Controller to manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials in a fast-paced FMCG setting. You will maintain accurate stock records, perform cycle counts, and ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance.

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP inventory systems is essential, along with strong organizational and coordination skills to work with Purchase, Production, QA, and Dispatch teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline, preferably B.Com or BBA.
• 4–7 years FMCG experience, preferably in food/spices/packaged foods.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP/inventory software.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of batch tracking, FIFO/FEFO, and stock reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical stock verification.
• Ensure batch tracking, expiry monitoring, and adherence to FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and maintain GRN and material issue records.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged goods, and slow-moving inventory.
• Update inventory records in ERP software and prepare stock reports.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Dispatch teams.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and proper material storage.
