Job summary

IMPRESARIO handmade restaurants in Mumbai, India is seeking an Assistant Storekeeper to support the Procurement & Stores department. The role involves receiving, stocking, issuing, and maintaining records of food, beverage, and bar inventory, ensuring materials are stored per company standards.

You will assist in audits, maintain FIFO rotation, and help keep the store area clean and organized, with attention to detail and good teamwork. Experience in F&B stores is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of inventory management in restaurants or hotels.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiar with MS Excel / POS inventory software preferred.
• Minimum 1 - 2 year of experience in store or F&B operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving deliveries and verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
• Tag, label, and store all items systematically in designated areas.
• Support daily issuance of food, beverages, and bar stock to respective departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area at all times.
• Update inward and outward stock entries in the register or POS system.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure FIFO stock rotation.
• Assist in weekly and monthly stock audits.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately to the Storekeeper.
