Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a State Collection Manager for Secured & Unsecured Lending. The role focuses on reducing delinquency, early resolution, and daily monitoring of accounts. You will engage delinquent borrowers via calls and field visits, build a capable team, and coordinate with branches to smoothen collections.

The candidate should have 3+ years in collections, experience with secured/unsecured loans, and strong Tamil/English communication. Travel and a vehicle license are required.

Qualifications

• UG degree is required.
• 3+ years of collection experience in secured/unsecured lending.
• Experience in handling soft and hard bucket collections.
• Fluent communication in Tamil/English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reduce delinquency and improve portfolio quality.
• Achieve timely resolution and normalization of accounts.
• Monitor accounts daily and ensure workflow adherence.
• Lead and train collection staff; build a high-performance team.
• Coordinate with branches to streamline collection processes.
• Travel as required by company expectations.

Main Tasks & Areas of Responsibility

:

• Delinquency reduction.
• Earlier resolution with normalization.
• Monitor accounts on daily basis
• Connecting with delinquent borrowers via various methods ( including but not limited to phone calls & field collections)
• Responsible for team building and training collection staffs
• To Work closely with Muthoot Fincorp branches for the smoother part of collection.

Skills and Exposure

:

• A result-oriented individual with Positive Mental Attitude with Integrity, willing to put hard work.
• Proven ability to Handle difficult customer.
• Should have the knowledge of other products movement in the market.
• At least 3 years’ experience in collection with 2 years of On roll team members.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to Work & Deliver business targets under pressure.
• Be Accountable for Portfolio Quality of the Location.
