Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years IT experience with DevOps, enterprise app support, automation and production service management.
• 5+ years leading technical or support teams including mentoring and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in L2 support operations, incident management, SLA governance and RCA.
• Strong scripting and automation: Python, Shell, PowerShell, SQL/PLSQL.
• Proficiency with Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Experience with application monitoring, dashboards, KPI tracking and service performance.
• Preferred Windchill knowledge including REST APIs and workflows.
• Exposure to AI-driven automation for operational efficiency.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps, Automation, and PLM/Windchill support engineers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence.
• Own L2 support operations, including incident management, SLA adherence, escalation handling, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Manage service requests related to user access, roles, workflows, configurations, reporting, and application support.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release planning, deployment readiness, environment validation, and post-release support activities.
• Develop and implement automation solutions using Python, SQL, scripting, Windchill REST APIs, and AI-enabled tools.
• Monitor application performance, operational KPIs, incident trends, service request volumes, and backlog health through dashboards and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, service owners, application teams, infrastructure, security teams, and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain and enhance operational documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.
• Coach and develop team members while promoting best practices in DevOps, support operations, and automation.

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of IT experience with strong expertise in DevOps, enterprise application support, automation, and production service management.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical or support teams, including planning, workload management, mentoring, stakeholder engagement, and escalation handling.
• Proven experience in L2 support operations, incident management, SLA governance, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and service request fulfillment.
• Strong hands-on scripting and automation skills using Python, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, SQL, PL/SQL, or similar technologies.
• Good understanding of Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, release management, deployment processes, and change governance.
• Experience with application monitoring, operational reporting, dashboarding, KPI tracking, and service performance management.
• Preferred knowledge of PTC Windchill, including workflows, lifecycle management, access controls, team roles, groups, administration, and REST APIs.
• Exposure to AI-driven automation and process optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Strong documentation skills, including development and maintenance of SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, and training materials.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production support environment, including shift-based operations, release windows, critical incidents, and priority business escalations.
