Job summary

Infineon Technologies in India (Ahmedabad area) seeks a seasoned PLM Solution Architect to lead Windchill-based ecosystems. You will define architecture, drive cloud migrations, and oversee ERP/ALM/CAD integrations, ensuring scalable, secure PLM implementations.

Experience with Java/J2EE, REST APIs, and enterprise-grade deployments is essential. You will mentor teams, engage stakeholders, support pre‑sales activities, and promote best practices across DevOps, CI/CD, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in enterprise PLM architecture and large-scale PTC Windchill implementations.
• Strong expertise in Windchill configuration, customization, workflows, lifecycles, object models, access control, teams, groups, and product/document management.
• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, REST APIs, JavaScript/Node.js, Python, scripting, databases, and reporting technologies.
• Proven track record of integrating PLM with ERP, ALM, CAD, IoT, document management, portals, and middleware.

We are seeking a PLM Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex PTC Windchill ecosystems. If you have experience with PLM, ERP, CAD integrations, cloud migration, microservices, Java, and enterprise architecture, this is your opportunity to work on cutting‑edge engineering and manufacturing transformation programs.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Define and own the Windchill solution architecture, roadmap, standards, and implementation strategy aligned with business and enterprise goals.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into scalable and effective PLM solutions.
• Design and configure Windchill solutions covering product data, CAD management, workflows, lifecycles, roles, teams, and access controls.
• Provide technical leadership for Windchill customizations, code reviews, governance, and best practices.
• Architect integrations between Windchill and enterprise applications such as ERP, ALM, document management systems, and portals.
• Lead cloud migration, platform upgrades, data migration, and legacy system modernization initiatives.
• Drive digital engineering experiences through dashboards, portals, and connected solutions.
• Establish and support DevOps, CI/CD, automation, release management, and deployment practices.
• Mentor developers, architects, and project teams while ensuring delivery quality and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and IT teams to drive architecture decisions and solution adoption.
• Support pre‑sales activities, including solution design, effort estimation, RFP responses, and proof‑of‑concept demonstrations.
• Maintain architecture documentation, interface specifications, deployment guides, and knowledge‑sharing materials.
• Promote quality assurance, continuous improvement, training, and operational best practices.

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in enterprise PLM architecture and large‑scale PTC Windchill implementations.
• Strong expertise in Windchill configuration, customization, workflows, lifecycles, object models, access control, teams, groups, and product/document management.
• Hands‑on experience with Java/J2EE, REST APIs, JavaScript/Node.js, Python, scripting, databases, and reporting technologies.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing integrations between PLM, ERP, ALM, CAD, IoT, document management systems, portals, and middleware platforms.
• Exposure to connected product and digital engineering solutions is preferred.
• Good understanding of cloud migration, microservices, platform upgrades, de‑customization, data migration, and legacy system modernization.
• Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, source control, release management, automated testing, and environment governance.
• Ability to create and present solution architectures, interface designs, data flows, technical roadmaps, and proof of concepts (PoCs).
• Strong technical leadership with experience in team mentoring, solution reviews, issue resolution, and delivery ownership.
• Customer‑facing consulting experience, including stakeholder workshops, product demonstrations, pre‑sales support, RFP responses, and technical presentations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, PTC, Cloud, or Agile are an added advantage.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams, locations, and time zones, including support during critical releases, migrations, and stabilization activities.
