Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG seeks a Staff Engineer Line Control in its Manufacturing and Operations team, working in a high-tech cleanroom environment where silicon wafers become cutting-edge products. You will be responsible for ensuring on-time delivery, WIP control, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize throughput.

The role emphasizes capacity planning, waste reduction, and alignment with PMST projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Relevant vocational training (minimum 3 years) with subject-specific qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Achieve committed weekly delivery targets to maintain healthy pre-delivery level.
• Ensure accurate wafer loading and WIP prioritization to fulfill customer demand requirements.
• Collaborate with Resource Planners, PLP, and IE on capacity reviews and customer demand fulfillment.
• Monitor and control WIP levels across processes (sustain range, flow factor, aging, lot cycle time).
• Monitor F1 material consumption to maximize output and minimize material waste.
• Coordinate and control equipment booking activities.
• Support engineering sample builds to achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Cycle Time (CT) targets.
• Participate in PMST projects to ensure CM project releases are completed on time.
• Manage batch loading activities to maximize output and minimize conversion losses.
• Closely monitor and follow up on high cycle time lots to minimize flow factor impact.

Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

• Coordinate and control equipment booking activities.

• Manage batch loading activities to maximize output and minimize conversion losses.
• Closely monitor and follow up on high cycle time lots within the production pipeline to minimize flow factor impact.

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Relevant vocational training (minimum 3 years) with extensive subject-specific additional qualifications.
• A completed relevant degree program of 4 years with subject-specific additional qualifications, or a completed relevant degree program of more than 4 years.
• Equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through alternative qualifications, training, or experience will also be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
