Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in India is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the Deviation Management team within Manufacturing & Operations. You will oversee lot on hold risk assessment, disposition, and drive containment actions to prevent recurrence.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Engineering with 3+ years of experience in electronics/semiconductor manufacturing, hands-on Die Bond/Wire Bond process experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics / Semiconductor Technology)
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing
• Hands-on experience in Assembly Process Engineering, preferably Die Bond and/or Wire Bond processes
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Lead Deviation Management Team, assess risks and dispositions for lot on hold with continuous improvement to prevent recurrence
• Ensure on-time disposition of Lot on Hold and reductions across processes
• Dispozition of known and non-critical defects with assistance from engineering team
• Alert unit process experts on critical defects and provide mapping for 8D completion
• Monitor daily deviation lots and perform containment actions
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce defect recurrence
