Job summary

ThunderSoft India Private Limited in Bangalore is seeking an STA engineer with 2-6 years of experience. The role involves running STA tools (Synopsys preferred), debugging STA issues, and generating ECOs across MCMM with feedback to design teams.

Proficiency in Tcl, Perl, Python, and knowledge of .lib/.db fields are required. Candidate should understand design metrics, have hands-on ICC2/FC experience, and be able to contribute to STA methodology improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with STA methods and Synopsys tools.
• Experience generating ECOs across MCMM and providing feedback to design teams.
• Knowledge of generating and analyzing .lib and .db fields for design data.
• Strong scripting in Tcl, Perl or Python to automate tasks.
• Good understanding of different design metrics and their implications.

Responsibilities

• Run STA tools (Synopsys preferred) independently and debug STA issues.
• Analyse ECO quality and communicate findings to the design team.
• Understand and interpret various design metrics relevant to STA.
• Ensure proper .lib/.db fields are generated and validated.
• Hands-on with ICC2 and FC; scripting skills to support flows.

Qualifications: B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M. E

Location: Bangalore

Role and Responsibilities

Candidate should be able to run STA tools ( Synopsys tools preferred) independently, understand STA methodology and debug STA issues.

Candidate is also expected to generate ECO across MCMM, analyse ECO quality and give feedback to design team during fix .

Hands on knowledge on ICC2, FC is desirable. Candidate should also be able to understand different design metrics .

Should have adequate knowledge on .lib generation and analysis of different fields inside .lib/.db .

Good scripting knowledge as well (Tcl, perl , python etc )

Good to have: PD, circuit simulation , scripting knowledge
