Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced production support engineer to manage and stabilize mission-critical applications from an operations perspective.

You will work with cross-functional teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and prevent incidents, implement automation, and contribute to runbooks and SOPs to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Provide L2 production support for business-critical applications.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using SRE monitoring tools.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Troubleshoot application, server, and database-related issues.
• Use SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and issue analysis.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and database teams to resolve production issues.
• Participate in deployment, release and change management activities.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability metrics.
• Create and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Support on-call rotations and major incident management processes.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
