Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking an L2 Production Support engineer to manage business-critical applications within PLM Production Support, leveraging DevOps and SRE practices. You will monitor systems, perform incident resolution, conduct RCA, and collaborate with development, infra, and database teams.

You will help deploy, release, and change management, and contribute to runbooks and SOPs while supporting on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Provide L2 production support for business-critical applications.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using SRE monitoring tools.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
• Troubleshoot application, server, and database-related issues.
• Use SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and issue analysis.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and database teams to resolve production issues.
• Participate in deployment, release, and change management activities.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability metrics.
• Create and maintain support documentation, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Support on-call rotations and major incident management processes.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
