Job summary

Proximus Global seeks a Technical Support Engineer to provide L3 support for messaging products and manage fault, configuration, and performance of live services.

You will monitor AWS CloudWatch logs, ensure 99.99% availability, and analyze logs to drive improvements. 1–4 years in a messaging/API environment is preferred, with strong Linux and PostgreSQL knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer with an API/messaging company.
• Experience with AWS cloud-based projects and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of API tracing, log analysis, and fault localization.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar databases and incident management tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for messaging products (WhatsApp, Viber, RCS, email, Voice, chatbots).
• Ensure fault/configuration/performance management of live products.
• Maintain 24x7 monitoring and 99.99% availability with clients and Cloud.
• Monitor AWS CloudWatch logs and service uptime; generate performance reports.

Position – Technical Support Engineer / Senior Tech. Support Engineer / L3 Support Engineer

Job Responsibility May Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Provide L3 support of messaging products like WhatsApp, Viber, RCS, e-mail, Voice, Chatbots.


• Ensure Fault Management, Configuration Management and Performance management of the live products.


• Ensure 24x7 monitoring processes are in place and coordinate with Support / Operations team to ensure 99.99% availability of all the products running with clients as well as Cloud.


• Monitor Cloud-watch logs on AWS and check for all services up-time


• Generate performance reports based on logs and database queries and analyze.


• Ensure a proper escalation matrix is created and followed for individual products


• Create processes to automatically elevate issues using various channels like SMS/WhatsApp/Viber/email/SNS etc.


• Create and adhere to Change Management Process and communicating with internal stakeholders for all types of incidents.

Required Experience / Skills

1 - 4 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer with an API/messaging company

• Should be good team player with good negotiation and persuasive skills.


• Experience of Cloud based projects especially on AWS


• Experience of handling API based microservices architecture


• Must have worked with a messaging company and understand call-flows and technologies involved.


• Sound knowledge of Linux and any database queries (like PostgreSQL etc.).


• Knowledge of incident management, ticketing tools etc.


• Sound knowledge of API tracing, troubleshooting, log analysis for fault localization and detection.
