Job summary

Genpact in Hyderabad is seeking a Sr. Specialist - F&A - FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning with business-unit alignment. You will deliver variance analyses, KPI insights, and dashboards, partnering with operations, sales, and supply chain while driving process improvements across FP&A.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and provide strategic financial guidance in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Commerce.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, CPA preferred.
• Strong data analytics and Excel/Power BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for business units.
• Perform detailed variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring of financial performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, marketing, supply chain) to support strategic initiatives with financial analysis.
• Identify opportunities to streamline FP&A processes and drive automation (e.g., Power BI, Anaplan).
• Ensure governance, controls, and compliance with corporate policies.
• Mentor and develop a team of analysts in FP&A.

Coordinate with business unit leaders to gather inputs and align financial goals with strategic objectives. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in all financial forecasts and planning cycles. 2. Financial Analysis & Insights Perform detailed variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), cost drivers, revenue trends, and profitability metrics. Deliver financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, or cost-saving opportunities. 3. Reporting & Dashboards Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports to senior leadership. Design and maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring of business performance and financial health. Support consolidation and reporting of global or regional financial data, as needed. 4. Strategic Business Partnering Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, marketing, supply chain) to support strategic initiatives with financial analysis. Act as a trusted advisor to business units, helping them understand financial impacts and optimize resource allocation. Support pricing, investment, and business case evaluations. 5. Process Improvement & Automation Identify opportunities to streamline FP&A processes, improve forecast accuracy, and reduce cycle time. Drive the implementation of financial tools, automation solutions, or reporting systems (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Power BI). Standardize best practices and templates across the FP&A function. 6. Governance & Compliance Ensure alignment with corporate financial policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements. Support audit processes with proper documentation and analytical support. 7. Team Leadership (for Senior Manager role) Lead and mentor a team of analysts or specialists in the FP&A function. Allocate work, set performance goals, and foster a high-performance culture.
