Job summary

Genpact is hiring an FP&A Specialist to drive financial planning, reporting, and analysis. You will support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability studies while partnering with sales, operations, and procurement to translate data into actionable insights.

The role emphasizes automation and advanced analytics, including GenAI-enabled analytics, with a focus on accuracy, controls, and continuous improvement. Evening shifts in India and a strong growth path are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• Certifications in FP&A or accounting (e.g., CFA, CMA, CPA) are a plus.
• Experience with financial planning, analysis, and reporting across business functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting cycles and build financial models.
• Develop dashboards to monitor KPIs and support management with insights.
• Assist in data management, scenario analysis, and financial modeling using Excel/BI tools.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and procurement to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to automation using BI tools.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Engage in ongoing learning and development to stay current on FP&A trends.

Financial Reporting & AnalysisAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Support variance analysis by comparing actual results to budget/forecast.Help identify trends and provide insights into business performance.2. Budgeting & ForecastingParticipate in the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.Gather and consolidate data from different departments for accurate forecasts.Support the development of financial models to project revenue, expenses, and profitability.3.
