Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Specialist - F&A with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP) in India. The role involves acting as SME for the AP team, overseeing vendor invoice reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.

You will generate reports, analyze data for trends, and drive process improvements across AP operations. The candidate should have strong MS Excel skills, excellent communication, and analytical abilities, with proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Accounts Payable Certification (F-Tec) and CPA/CFA mentioned as preferred/required in context.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis for vendor reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for AP team, leading vendor reconciliation activities.
• Oversee detailed reconciliation and payment applications of vendor invoices.
• Direct reconciliation of balances, investigate variances, ensure timely resolution.
• Generate internal reports of unprocessed invoices for visibility and decision-making.
• Lead vendor reconciliations and review Statements of Accounts for accuracy.
• Manage month-end closing activities for vendor-related transactions.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Billing, and Operations to streamline workflows.
