Job summary

GSE Renewables India Pvt. Ltd. invites an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee daily field operations of solar projects across Maharashtra. You will monitor plants, coordinate with vendors, and handle warranty-related repairs.

The role requires strong O&M exposure, NEC knowledge, ERP/MS Office proficiency, and willingness to travel to site locations. You will lead maintenance activities, perform inspections, and report on field performance.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Electrical Engineering/Electronic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong negotiation skills.
• Must have good O&M exposure.
• Proficient in using ERP systems/MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and able to lead effectively.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and standard design/construction practices
• Knowledge of O&M of HT Equipment and Transmission line
• Strong work ethic, positive team attitude and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Proven track record in Project Management and O&M activities of operational solar panels.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in a customer/supplier service environment.
• Willing to travel for field visits and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Monitor solar power plant and coordinate with vendors and clients.

Job description

He must handle a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth daily operations of a business. This may include monitoring the solar power plant and coordinating with vendors & clients.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all required repairs, maintenance, and monitoring of all warranty claims.
• Identifies problems and develops corrective action plans. Scheduling and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Responds to emergency call outs.
• Ensure that all O&M activities performed at project sites comply with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) requirements and warranties
• Must have all concerned information about the development of renewables.
• Travel to project sites and vendor locations as assigned to perform all aspects of on-site installation, repair, maintenance, oversight, and modifications as required.
• Perform electric, mechanical and software component inspections, testing, repair, and troubleshooting, in accordance with its specifications.
• Provide timely written review reports from field operation, status, and constructive feedback as requested.
• Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
