Job summary

Chubb India is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer/Technical Lead to own Duck Creek Policy modules. You will collaborate with product owners, gather requirements, and design solutions leveraging the Duck Creek Platform, agile practices, and strong coding standards.

The role focuses on delivering features in Rating, Forms, and Business Rules, with production support experience and documentation. A Bachelor’s in IT and 6–12 years of Duck Creek experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer or Information Technology, or a related engineering/computer field
• AINS and DC Policy Admin System Certification is a plus
• Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience, preferably in a similar role
• Must have 6–12 years of experience with the Duck Creek Policy Admin System

Responsibilities

• 6-12 years' experience in Duck Creek Policy Admin System in P&C / Commercial/Speciality Insurance
• Strong working experience on Example Author - Server, CBO Express, and Skins
• Strong ability to debug Duck Creek issues and provide solutions for DC components, especially Rating, Forms, and Business Rules
• Should have a strong understanding of manuscripts, versioning and configuration
• Understanding of third-party integrations with Duck Creek like ISO, PitneyBowes, D&B, etc..
• Strong in unit testing, solution documentation and transition of solutions
• Experience working in production support for Duck Creek application and incident resolutions

Position Overview:

TheSr DC Developer builds the product envisioned by the Product Owner and other stakeholders. Work with Business and subject matter experts to gather and validate the requirements. Work with Enterprise / Solution architects in designing the solution. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the Duck Creek Platform, agile/scrum, change orientation and effective communication

Key Responsibilities:
