Chubb India is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead for the Duck Creek Policy domain. The role involves gathering requirements with stakeholders, designing solutions with architects, and delivering DC-based features using the Duck Creek Platform in an agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 years of experience with Duck Creek Policy Admin System, strong debugging skills, and familiarity with third-party integrations.

Qualifications

• 6-12 years' experience in Duck Creek Policy Admin System in P&C/Commercial/Speciality Insurance.
• Strong working experience on Example Author - Server, CBO Express, and Skins.
• Strong ability to debug Duck Creek issues and provide solutions for DC components, especially Rating, Forms, and Business Rules.
• Understanding of manuscripts, versioning and configuration.
• Knowledge of third-party integrations with Duck Creek like ISO, PitneyBowes, D&B, etc.
• Strong in unit testing, solution documentation and transition of solutions.
• Experience in production support for Duck Creek application and incident resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Duck Creek Policy Admin System components.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and architects to design solutions.
• Debug and resolve Duck Creek issues across DC components (Rating, Forms, Business Rules).
• Ensure manuscripts/versioning/configuration are properly managed.
• Coordinate with external integrations (ISO, PitneyBowes, D&B).
• Provide unit tests, documentation, and smooth transition of solutions.
• Support production operations and incident resolution for the Duck Creek stack.

Position Overview:

TheSr DC Developer builds the product envisioned by the Product Owner and other stakeholders. Work with Business and subject matter experts to gather and validate the requirements. Work with Enterprise / Solution architects in designing the solution. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the Duck Creek Platform, agile/scrum, change orientation and effective communication

Key Responsibilities:

• 6-12 years' experience in Duck Creek Policy Admin System in P&C / Commercial/Speciality Insurance
• Strong working experience on Example Author - Server, CBO Express, and Skins
• Strong ability to debug Duck Creek issues and provide solutions for DC components, especially Rating, Forms, and Business Rules
• Should have a strong understanding of manuscripts, versioning and configuration
• Understanding of third-party integrations with Duck Creek like ISO, PitneyBowes, D&B, etc..
• Strong in unit testing, solution documentation and transition of solutions
• Experience working in production support for Duck Creek application and incident resolutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher education level, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer or Information Technology discipline, or a related engineering/computer field
• AINS and DC Policy Admin System Certification is a plus
• Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience, preferably in a similar role
• Must have 6 – 12 years of experience with the Duck Creek Policy Admin System
