Altera Digital Health (India) LLP is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer – ServiceNow in Pune. The role demands 10+ years total experience with 5+ years as a ServiceNow developer, ITSM focus, and solid ITIL background. The candidate will design and deploy complex ServiceNow solutions and integrate with various systems.

The shift is evening 5pm–2am IST. A Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT is required along with ServiceNow certifications and strong collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years total experience with at least 5 years as ServiceNow Developer.
• Experience in ITSM and core processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, CMDB.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ServiceNow projects and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot tickets; design, prototype, implement and test business rules, client scripts, UI pages, ACLs, notifications and REST/SOAP web services.
• Create and move updatesets, ensure highly available and recoverable environments.
• Review requirements for detailed estimation; mentor peers and collaborate with process owners.

Sr. Software Engineer – ServiceNow

Experience

• Minimum 10 yrs. of total experience. Minimum 5 yrs. of experience as ServiceNow Developer
• Worked in ITSM organizational structure
• Experience implementing the following Core Process Areas: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request and CMDB

Prerequisite

• Written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work on development projects/enhancements for ServiceNow
• Handle troubleshooting tickets in ServiceNow. Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, technical solutions such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, ACLs and notifications, ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS, development skills, such as HTML, CSS, Angular JS
• Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances.
• Design and maintain a highly available and recoverable environment.
• Responsible for reviewing requirements to ensure that they are provided in sufficient detail to be accurately estimated.
• Proactively keep ServiceNow skills current
• Peer review, Mentor and share technical knowledge with service management team.
• You will be required to work with process owners and other stakeholders.
