Job summary

Altera Digital Health in Pune seeks a Senior Software Engineer – ServiceNow to lead development efforts on the ServiceNow platform, driving ITSM workflows and integrations. You will design rules, build UI components, and help optimize incident, change, problem processes while mentoring peers.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years overall, 5+ years in ServiceNow, ITIL knowledge, and certifications. Evening shift 5pm–2am IST; collaboration with process owners is essential.

Qualifications

• Total experience 10+ years in IT.
• Minimum 5 years as ServiceNow Developer.
• Experience with ITSM core processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, CMDB.
• ITIL knowledge is required and ServiceNow certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on development projects/enhancements for ServiceNow.
• Handle troubleshooting tickets in ServiceNow.
• Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, ACLs and notifications, ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS; HTML/CSS/AngularJS.
• Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances.
• Design and maintain a highly available and recoverable environment.
• Review requirements to ensure detailed estimates.
• Proactively keep ServiceNow skills current.
• Peer review, mentor and share knowledge with service management team.
• Collaborate with process owners and other stakeholders.
