Vertiv in Maharashtra is seeking a Lead Engineer - Mechanical / Design Engineer to manage multiple large projects. You will be responsible for designing enclosures and panels, creating assembly drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, experience with Autodesk Inventor and Creo, and 5-10 years of relevant experience. The position has a travel requirement of 25%.

Handles and/or coordinates multiple large projects, designing enclosures, panels, switchboard panels, cable trays, mounting of equipment, busbars, and other electro‑mechanical equipment. Prepares documentation such as sheet metal part and assembly drawings, installation drawings, component selection for hardware, buy‑out parts, fabrication drawings, and models enclosures and parts in Autodesk Inventor. Performs basic weight and BOM quantity calculations. Requires knowledge of relevant drawing documentation, ISO standards, and basic understanding of international and other mechanical engineering standards.
Developing mechanical design of modular enclosure/buildings at small, medium, and large scale in Autodesk Inventor/Creo and producing project drawing and documentation. Works on CAD models for sheet metal parts, design concepts, and detailed assemblies. Participates in engineering meetings with equipment suppliers and develops new skills through internal and external education. Supports multiple projects and collaborates with cross‑functional teams including electrical, structural, and controls.
