Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a mechanical design engineer with Creo experience in sheet metal to support engineering, NPD and VA/VE initiatives. The role involves delivering 3D models, assemblies, drawings and BOM structures while aligning with customer requirements and quality standards.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of Creo experience in design environments, knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing, and be proficient in English communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in mechanical engineering with design exposure.
• 3–5 years of Creo experience in sheet metal domain.
• Experience with Bills of Materials, Modelling, Drafting, CR/CO.
• Working knowledge of PLM tools (Oracle, Team Centre or Windchill) is a plus.
• Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes is required.
• Experience in telecom/electrical enclosure design is an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in English.

Primary Objective of the position: Work in coordination with the Manager / Dy Managers on projects, assignments such as, Bills of Materials, Modelling, Drafting, CAD, and CO to maintain desired quality levels set by the organisation.

Job Responsibility

• Work on Engineering Support, New Product Development and VA/VE, Quality Improvement

• Work on design and development of parts/assembly, & Provide design packages including 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOM structures

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/B.E in mechanical Engineering with relevant exposure to a design environment.
• 3-5 years of experience in Creo in the sheet metal domain is a must
• Experience in Bills of Materials, Modelling, Drafting, CR/CO
• Working experience with any PLM tools, e.g. Oracle, Team Centre or Windchill, will be an advantage
• Knowledge of the sheet metal manufacturing process must
• Experience in telecom/electrical enclosure design is an added advantage
• Good Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
• Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, Willingness to learn and organised
