Vertiv in Maharashtra, India, seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop DC power systems for telecom products. You will lead New Product Development and quality-improvement projects, delivering end-to-end from concept to customer delivery.
You should have 5–8 years in New Product Design, strong Creo sheet metal/bus bar skills, and experience in Part & Assembly Modelling, drafting and ECOs. Knowledge of Oracle PLM and materials selection is a plus.
To Design and Develop DC Power System for Telecommunication Products. He / She will be working on New product Development projects, VA/VE Projects & Quality Improvement projects as required. He / She will take complete responsibility of project execution from end to end and deliver as per customer need. He / She needs to Estimate, Plan, co-ordinate and execute projects along with sub-ordinates to meet deadlines as per agreement. He / She will be in coordination with manager/ lead Engineers projects for Design and Development. Person should independently conduct work product reviews, Analytical calculations and actively participate in Design Reviews. Being part of Global Engineering Function, he / she is expected to maintain desired performance (quality & schedule adherence) levels set by organization and report as per defined communication plan.
