Candidates should have a B-Tech in Mechanical and 10+ years in Iron/steel or related fields, with proven installation and commissioning experience in Greenfield or Brownfield projects. Strong project management and execution skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B-Tech (preferably in Mechanical or related field)
• 10+ years of experience in Iron Steel, automobile or related field
• Proven experience in installation and commissioning of Greenfield or Brown field projects

Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for process planning, equipment specification preparation, equipment selection, equipment installation and commissioning.
• Overseeing the installation of new systems and equipment.
• Prepare cost comparisons from different suppliers and support in technical comparisons.
• Develop and implement the timeline based project installation and handover to the operations team.
• Troubleshooting any problems that arise during the installation process.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and work instructions, guide notes and other information that forms part of the quality assurance, health and safety and environmental management systems.
• Assist in planning and distribution of the erection commissioning plan for mechanical aspects with dates, timescales and resource requirements.
