This role demands a seasoned professional with a strong technical foundation in carbon steel production processes, coupled with the ability to manage complex projects, optimize plant performance, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. You will collaborate cross-functionally to implement innovative solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain the highest quality standards in a dynamic industrial environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the engineering operations related to carbon steel production, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
• Develop, implement, and monitor process improvements to enhance efficiency, product quality, and safety within the operations department.
• Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and extend the lifecycle of critical plant equipment.
• Conduct detailed technical analysis and troubleshooting to resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
• Ensure strict adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety and compliance across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, quality assurance, and production planning to streamline operations and optimize resource utilization.
• Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing within the department.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through innovative engineering solutions and process optimization.
