Job summary

Jindal Stainless Limited seeks a Sr. Manager in the Project Department to lead end-to-end installation for new business ventures, coordinating with procurement and operations to ensure smooth execution and on-time handover.

The ideal candidate has a B.Tech in Mechanical or related field with 10+ years in iron and steel or automotive sectors, proven experience in greenfield or brownfield projects, and strong project management, manufacturing process understanding, and execution skills.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Mechanical or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Iron & Steel, automobile or related field.
• Proven experience in installation and commissioning of greenfield or brownfield projects.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for process planning, equipment specification preparation, equipment selection, equipment installation and commissioning.
• Overseeing the installation of new systems and equipment.
• Prepare cost comparisons from different supplier and support in technical comparison.
• Develop and implement the timeline based project installation and handover to the operations team.
• Troubleshooting any problems that arise during the installation process.
• To ensure compliance with company procedures and work instructions, guide notes and other information that forms part of the quality assurance, health and safety and environmental management systems.
• To assist in the planning and distribution of the erection & commissioning plan for mechanical such as detailing dates, timescales and resource requirements.
