Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Metallurgical Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant iron & steel experience, with strong knowledge of stainless steel metallurgy, data analytics tools, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive development projects and deliver

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the Iron & Steel Industry, preferably in Product Development, R&D, Process Improvement, or Technical Services.
• Strong knowledge of stainless steel/steel metallurgy.
• Knowledge of data analytics tools.
• Cross-functional coordination and project management experience.
• Technical report writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute in-house activities for new product development.
• Drive product, process, and quality improvement initiatives through systematic experimentation and analysis.
• Coordinate with Sales and Marketing teams to understand customer requirements and application-specific needs.
• Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders regarding product performance and applications.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new product opportunities and business requirements.
• Analyze development and process data and prepare technical reports with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and operations teams for successful implementation of development projects.

Job Purpose:

The position is responsible forconducting various in-house activities aimed at new product development,improvement of existing products, and process and quality optimization. Therole involves regular interaction with the Sales team to understand customerrequirements, application needs, and market demands, while providing necessarytechnical support. The incumbent will also be responsible for carrying outfeasibility studies for new product requirements and supportingcommercialization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
