Job summary

Nykaa is seeking a Senior Manager Process & Operations Excellence to lead end-to-end process optimization across its warehouse and logistics network in India. You will own KPI governance, drive standardization of SOPs, and guide Lean Six Sigma initiatives to cut costs and boost throughput.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain roles.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale process improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own process excellence across the warehouse and logistics value chain including inbound receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, outbound dispatch and last-mile operations.
• Design, standardize, and institutionalize SOPs to drive consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across fulfillment centers.
• Establish governance mechanisms to ensure adherence to standardized operating processes and identify opportunities for continuous refinement.
• Define, monitor, and continuously improve key operational KPIs including warehouse and logistics productivity, order accuracy, and turnaround time.
• Define operational dashboards and reporting frameworks to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Lead structured performance reviews, governance cadences, and business reviews with warehouse and logistics leadership teams.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen initiatives to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and reduce logistics costs.
• Conduct root cause analyses for operational challenges and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive cross-functional process improvement initiatives that improve throughput, transportation efficiency, service levels, and overall fulfillment performance.
• Partner with Technology & Product teams to improve system utilization and operational workflows.
• Drive automation and digitization initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations.
• Enhance operational visibility through dashboards, analytics, and real-time monitoring.
• Establish robust audit frameworks to ensure compliance and process adherence.

Senior Manager Process & Operations Excellence

We are looking for a Senior Manager Process & Operations Excellence to drive end-to-end process excellence across our warehouse and logistics operations. This role will own operational optimization initiatives spanning inbound receiving at warehouse to delivery to customer, establish KPI governance frameworks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making across warehouse and logistics teams.

This is a high-impact role requiring deep operational expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders while delivering measurable improvements across the fulfillment network.

Key Responsibilities

Process Standardization & Governance

• Own process excellence across the warehouse and logistics value chain, including inbound receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, outbound dispatch and last-mile operations.
• Design, standardize, and institutionalize operating procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across fulfillment centers and logistics operations.
• Establish governance mechanisms to ensure adherence to standardized operating processes and identify opportunities for continuous refinement.

Performance Management

• Define, monitor, and continuously improve key operational KPIs, including:

• Partner closely with Technology & Product teams to improve system utilization and operational workflows.
• Drive automation and digitization initiatives across warehouse and logistics operations.
• Enhance operational visibility through dashboards, analytics, and real-time performance monitoring.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Establish robust audit frameworks to ensure operational compliance and process adherence across warehouse and logistics operations.
• Champion safety standards, quality controls, and operational best practices throughout the fulfillment network.
• Drive continuous monitoring to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Capability Building & Change Management

• Design and deliver structured capability-building programs, training initiatives, and operational workshops.
• Drive change management initiatives to embed a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Partner with warehouse and logistics leadership teams to strengthen process ownership and accountability across operational functions.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• MBA is preferred.

Experience

• More than 8 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, fulfillment centers, distribution, or supply chain operations.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
• Hands-on experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and logistics operations.
• Demonstrated success in delivering measurable improvements in operational productivity, quality, cost, and service levels.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, operational analytics, and dashboarding tools; experience with Minitab or similar statistical tools is preferred.
