Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, a leader in automotive and farm equipment, seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to drive product development milestones. You will collaborate with design and engineering teams to deliver CAD drawings, BOMs, and PFMEA/DFMEA inputs, ensuring quality at each stage from concept to release.

Candidates should have a Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and 10–15 years of relevant experience in Auto industries, with exposure to CAE and validation processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or graduate in Mechanical Engineering required or preferred.
• Experience within automotive product development is desirable.
• Familiarity with CAD, drawing release, and DFMEA processes.
• Knowledge of CAE and validation support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements per program milestones (OEM product development).
• Support delivery from kick-off to implementation including QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, and model preparation release.
• Provide CAD support for engineering proposals with internal/external experts.
• Release drawings and models with system engineers; prepare Bills of Materials.
• Support CDMM and other teams for part development and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Understand Project requirements as per program milestones. (Any OEM Product development gateway systems)
• Support Project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation, including QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation release, CAE and physical validation support, development Implementation support, DFMEA, DVP
• CAD support for engineering proposals preparation in consultation with internal external (supplier) experts
• Release of drawings and model with system engineer
• Preparation of Bill of Material
• Support to CDMM and other implementation team for part development and quality initiatives

Experience

10 - 15 years
