Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a senior automotive engineer to contribute to advanced product development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into designs, drawings, and validated components, ensuring milestones are met.

The role emphasizes CAD/CAE support, BOM preparation, and release of drawings with system engineers, along with DFMEA and DVP activities to deliver reliable, high-quality parts.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of automotive engineering experience.
• BE/B.Tech degree required.
• Experience with CAD/drawings and model release.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements per program milestones.
• Support engineering/design delivery from kick-off to implementation, incl. QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model prep and release, CAE and physical validation support, DFMEA, DVP.
• CAD support for engineering proposals with internal/external experts.
• Release of drawings and model with system engineer.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Support CDMM and other implementation teams for part development and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Understand Project requirements as per program milestones. (Any OEM Product development gateway systems)
• Support Project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation, including QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation and release, CAE and physical validation support, development and Implementation support, DFMEA, DVP
• CAD support for engineering proposals preparation in consultation with internal external (supplier) experts
• Release of drawings and model with system engineer
• Preparation of Bill of Material
• Support to CDMM and other implementation team for part development and quality initiatives
