Job summary

Photon in Chennai designs scalable Atlassian solutions to support enterprise workflows. This role focuses on Jira Service Management, Jira Admin, and Confluence, translating business needs into effective configurations, automations, and dashboards.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams, lead integration design, create architecture docs, and guide governance, with an international team in multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Jira-based integrations and workflows.
• Ability to gather requirements and conduct stakeholder workshops.
• Experience communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Atlassian solutions for enterprise workflows.
• Translate requirements into configurations, automations, and dashboards.
• Lead integration design for HR, Finance, and other support apps.
• Develop system architecture documentation and standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, PMs, and tech leads to refine requirements.
• Provide guidance on Atlassian capabilities and governance.

Job description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions across Atlassian products to support enterprise workflows
• Translate business and user requirements into effective system configurations, automations, and dashboards
• Ability to work with HR, Finance and other support functions to develop and deploy suitable ticketing solutions for their functional areas.
• Lead the design for integrations and APIs to/from existing HR, Finance and other support applications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture documentation, blueprints, and standards
• Partner with product owners, project managers, and technical leads to gather and refine system requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on Atlassian capabilities, industry best practices, and governance frameworks
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work on an international team in different timezones and often competing priorities.
• Work in an iterative way with the business stakeholders to agree, develop and document solutions.
