Job summary

Cloudxtreme in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Jira Administrator/Developer to configure and extend Jira projects, workflows, and permissions. The role involves building integrations using Groovy and Python, and delivering automated solutions that streamline incident tracking, reporting, and collaboration across teams.

You will manage Jira Cloud/Data Center aspects, work with Atlassian Forge/Connect, REST APIs, and provide admin enablement, while ensuring security best practices and reliable CI/CD

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Jira administration and/or development (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience with Jira REST APIs and building integrations.
• Proficiency in Groovy for Jira scripting/automation.
• Proficiency in Python for API integrations, automation jobs, and data/reporting pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), SDLC, and DevOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply security best practices (least privilege, auditability, data handling, retention) in configurations and integrations.

• Build integrations and automation services using Python (e.g., calling Jira APIs, processing events, syncing data with other platforms).
• Create and maintain dashboards, filters, JQL queries, and operational reporting.
