Job summary

Photon is seeking a Jira Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Atlassian-based solutions for enterprise workflows. You will translate requirements into Jira configurations, automate processes, and build dashboards for stakeholders across HR, Finance, and other support functions.

You will lead API integrations, manage data migration tasks, and contribute to architecture documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and optimizing Atlassian Jira/Confluence in enterprise environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into Jira configurations and automations.
• Experience with API integrations and data migration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions across Atlassian products to support enterprise workflows.
• Translate business and user requirements into effective system configurations, automations, and dashboards.

Jira Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions across Atlassian products to support enterprise workflows
• Translate business and user requirements into effective system configurations, automations, and dashboards
• Ability to work with HR, Finance and other support functions to develop and deploy suitable ticketing solutions for their functional areas.
• Lead the design for integrations and APIs to/from existing HR, Finance and other support applications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system architecture documentation, blueprints, and standards
• Partner with product owners, project managers, and technical leads to gather and refine system requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on Atlassian capabilities, industry best practices, and governance frameworks
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work on an international team in different timezones and often competing priorities.
• Work in an iterative way with the business stakeholders to agree, develop and document solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor on platform strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
