Job summary

Solarium Green Energy Limited is seeking a Procurement Engineer / Sr. Executive to manage end-to-end procurement for Solar EPC projects in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The role requires strong knowledge of solar materials, vendor management, price negotiation, and timely delivery.

You will handle RFQs, quotations, and POs, coordinate with project and design teams, and ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and budget. Prior experience in renewable energy procurement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in procurement or purchase activities.
• Experience in Solar EPC or the renewable energy industry will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of materials required for Solar EPC projects.
• Coordinate with project, design, engineering, planning, and site teams to understand material requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials at project sites as per project schedules.
• Develop new vendors and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with approved commercial terms and company procurement procedures.
• Monitor material prices, market trends, lead times, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Follow up on pending deliveries, quality issues, warranty claims, and replacement materials.
• Maintain procurement MIS, savings reports, purchase order trackers, and vendor performance records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve material shortages and procurement-related issues.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Procurement Engineer / Sr.Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities for Solar EPC projects. The candidate should have good technical knowledge of solar materials, vendor management, price negotiation, and timely material delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of materials required for Solar EPC projects.
• Have sound technical knowledge of solar modules, inverters, DC and AC cables, mounting structures, transformers, HT/LT panels, switchgear, earthing materials, and other Balance of System (BOS) items.
• Float RFQs, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate prices, and finalize vendors.
• Coordinate with project, design, engineering, planning, and site teams to understand material requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials at project sites as per project schedules.
• Develop new vendors and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with approved commercial terms and company procurement procedures.
• Monitor material prices, market trends, lead times, and cost-saving opportunities.

• Knowledge of ERP or procurement software will be an advantage.
