Job summary

Prozeal Green Energy is seeking a Sr. Executive Procurement to manage end-to-end purchase activities for wind, solar and renewable energy projects. The role spans item sourcing, RFQ processing, supplier evaluation, and procurement planning across Ahmedabad/Surat facilities.

You will coordinate with planning, engineering, site execution, logistics and finance to ensure timely deliveries, optimal pricing and strict compliance with internal processes.

Qualifications

• Procurement experience in wind/renewable energy preferred.
• Experience of 4-7 years in procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce / engineering / supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of project-related items including solar modules, electrical & civil components, structural materials, and third-party services.
• Float RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize procurement decisions with technical teams.
• Negotiate with vendors to optimize pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery conditions.
• Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs), monitor delivery schedules, and ensure timely dispatches per site requirements.
• Coordinate with planning, engineering, site execution, logistics, and finance for procurement operations.
• Maintain procurement trackers, vendor performance records, and project-wise procurement reports.
• Identify and onboard new vendors, conduct capability assessments, and build long-term supplier relationships.
• Ensure proper documentation, compliance with internal processes, and support procurement audits.
• Explore cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing and value engineering inputs.
