Job summary

Fortleechiropractors in Mapusa, Goa, is seeking a dynamic Purchase Officer to handle procurement of engineering materials, components, and services. You will source vendors, manage quotations, and ensure timely, cost‑efficient purchases for our solar EPC projects.

The role requires 3–5 years in engineering procurement, with strong negotiation, ERP and MS Office skills, and the ability to coordinate with logistics and accounts teams to keep material flow uninterrupted.

Qualifications

• B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics or related field.
• 3–5 years in procurement of engineering or industrial materials.
• Experience in Solar EPC / Renewable Energy sector is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors for engineering materials.
• Obtain quotations, prepare comparisons, and finalize purchase orders.
• Ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, stores, and project teams on material requirements.
• Maintain vendor database with performance and payment history.
• Negotiate with suppliers for best terms (price, quality, delivery).
• Track purchase orders and monitor inventory to keep site material flow.
• Handle procurement documentation including GRN, invoices, and payments.
• Collaborate with logistics and accounts for dispatch and payments.
• Support management in developing procurement strategies and cost-saving initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable vendors and suppliers for engineering materials and components.
• Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering, stores, and project teams to understand material requirements and specifications.
• Maintain and update the vendor database with performance records and payment history.
• Negotiate with suppliers for best terms—price, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Track purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and ensure uninterrupted material flow to project sites.
• Handle documentation related to procurement, GRN, invoices, and vendor payments.
• Work closely with logistics and accounts teams for dispatch, receipt, and payment coordination.
• Support management in developing procurement strategies, cost‑saving initiatives, and vendor development programs.

Requirements
