Job summary

Varroc is seeking a Sr. Engineer PPC - Plant to manage production planning and material coordination. You will align monthly/weekly/daily plans with customer indents, coordinate with purchasing, and ensure timely dispatches and zero line losses. Proficiency in SAP and ERP reporting is required.

The role involves generating MRP runs, BOM compliance, and reporting on schedule adherence, with a focus on optimizing manpower and machinery utilization for the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum BE in Mechanical/Industrial/Electronics/Electrical.
• 3-5 years of experience in the field.
• Auto components/auto industry experience 2-3 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly/weekly/daily production plan from customer indents.
• Generate monthly material requirements and communicate to purchasing.
• Run MRP for work orders and coordinate with stores/purchase.
• Release work orders in SAP and monitor schedule adherence.
• Publish Production Plan vs Actual reports and line loss analyses.
• Ensure on-time dispatches and coordinating with dispatch team.
• Forecast for N and N+1 months to enable manpower and machine planning.

Role Title Sr. Engineer PPC - Plant

1. JOB PURPOSE

Production Planning as per the monthly / weekly/ daily customer indent, coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely dispatches to customer and ensure zero line losses.

• - Compilation of Monthly indent from customer and prepare monthly production plan.
• - Monthly material requirement generation and communication to purchase.
• - Monthly / weekly MRP run for work order generation
• - Tentative weekly production plan and shortage compliance.
• - Return of excess material from shop floor to store on weekly basis.
• - Daily production plan as per design inventory norms and customer requirement.
• - Daily SFG transfer from SMT to assembly (As applicable)
• - Work order release in SAP
• - Daily material shortage list and coordinate with purchase for supply commitment.
• - Daily dispatch plan communication to dispatch team
• - Prepare and publish various reports such as Production Plan V/s Actual, Schedule adherence report.
• - Follow up for production achievement as per plan.
• - Ensuring on time vehicle dispatch and communication with customer.
• - Production BOM creation and updation in SAP
• - ECN implementation System readiness, zero obsolescence by inventory control
• - BOM audit for actual physical consumption of ROH.
• - Weekly/ Monthly Line loss analysis report generation and communication to respective functions
• - levelled production plan for N and N+1 week to enable Mfg in uniform manning and planning Associated With it .
• - Make forecast for N & N +1 month to enable manpower plan for resources in the forthcoming months and key machinery utilization forecast to enable other business decisions ( make /buy, machine movement etc )
