Job summary

IMW Engineering is seeking a PPC Manager with 7–12 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing. The candidate will plan daily and monthly production, allocate jobs, monitor plan vs. actual, and coordinate with stores, quality, maintenance, and dispatch to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong Excel, ERP and SAP skills, plus experience with CNC/VMC/HMC/VTL machines. He/she will work closely with shop-floor teams to optimize capacity and schedules.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of PPC experience in a manufacturing/engineering plant or auto components industry.
• Good knowledge of production planning, capacity and scheduling.
• Exposure to CNC, VMC, HMC, VTL machines.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, ERP and SAP systems.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable working with production and shop-floor teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and monthly production plans.
• Handle machine loading and job allocation.
• Monitor Production Plan vs. Actual on a regular basis.
• Plan production schedules as per customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch.
• Check material availability before finalizing plans.
• Track WIP and pending jobs, and follow up on delays.
• Monitor delivery schedules to avoid delays.
• Prepare daily PPC/MIS reports.
• Work on ERP and Excel for planning and reporting.
• Coordinate with shop-floor teams to achieve production targets.
• Plan production activities by preparing schedules, monitoring progress, and adjusting as needed to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Stores, Quality and Production to ensure smooth material flow and delivery.
• Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movements and optimize storage space.
• Analyze capacity planning data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling, quality and supply chain issues.
