Metso in Gurgaon seeks a Sr Engineer – CNS Procurement to lead procurement activities for fabrication, forging and casting, manage supplier relations and drive cost competitiveness.

You will handle RFQs, negotiations, POs, SAP data management, and KPI tracking across global partners while coordinating with factories, sales and service teams. This role demands strong analytical skills and multi-project delivery under pressure.

Qualifications

• Graduation in the Supply Chain / Procurement.
• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supplier management and inventory management.
• Proficient in SAP-Hana, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and market intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities related to fabrication, forging and casting procurement, product development and supplier negotiations.
• Lead cost benchmarking and vendor development to improve competitiveness.
• Maintain large supplier base with KPIs on cost, delivery and sustainability.
• Review market indexes, analyze cost impact and take actions to optimize spend.
• Oversee end-to-end RFQ, negotiations, PO control and invoicing.
• Manage SAP data, processes, inventory controls and system utilization.
• Provide reporting/analytics for various business needs and coordinate with global teams.

Job Title : Sr Engineer – CNS Procurement

Introduction

Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing & developing India procurement related task to Foundry operations including Raw materials, Consumables, Capex activities & other all scope included covering domestic and global partners.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Managing Procurement activities related Fabrication, Forging, Casting Procurement, product development, supplier negotiation, pattern development
• Manage continuous improvement for Vendor development and cost benchmarking.
• Manage large supplier base & implement required KPIs (Cost, Sustainability & delivery performance)
• Review market indexes, analysis the cost impact and take right actions to bring cost competitiveness
• Manage end to end performance, RFQ, negotiations, PO control and invoicing.
• Manage the SAP data management, Process, Inventory controls & System utilization.
• Reporting / Analytics related to various business needs.
• Supply chain co-ordination with the global team related to multiple streams.
• Co-ordination with Factories, sales, service and other stake holders to manage day to day business.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Stay up to date with technological advancements
• Performance management, Supply risk mitigation, Lead time controls, able to lead and manage in the multiple BLs and project at the same time.

Key Skills & Knowledge

• Graduation in the Supply Chain / Procurement
• 3+ year of experience related to Procurement, Supplier management, Inventory management.
• High level skills are needed – SAP-Hana, Excel, Power Point, PBI, Jagger, market intelligence web-based tools.
• Strong Analytical skills are essential.
• Able to meet target deadline and derive result under challenge situations / pressure.
