Job summary

Lead Hr Services seeks a production supervisor for a forging unit in Tamil Nadu. You will monitor daily production and cutting reports, ensure RM availability, and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.

You will conduct weekly performance reviews, update operator skills matrix, and prepare monthly reports to drive continuous improvement. Prior experience in forging and die setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with production planning and daily reporting.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of OEE and production metrics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production and cutting reports; ensure RM availability.
• Lead shift with die setting and machine maintenance coordination.

Essential Roles and Deliverables

• 1.Daily following production reports and cutting reports.
• 2.Manpower Handling at right time and right place, Forge shop production.
• 3.Ensuring the Rm availability for all section.
• 4.Monitoring the all machine wear plate condition
• 5.Ensuring the all machine spare availability
• 6.Manyo top clamp and bolts monitoring.
• 7.RM cutting plan given to avoid the Rm Mix-up
• 8.RM reconsolidation reports daily monitoring
• 9.Ensuring Die setting before start production.
• 10.Daily conducting rejection review meeting with operators
• 11.Weekly once OJT given to operators.
• 12.Shift wise follow die history card reports
• 13.Daily monitoring end bit salvage
• 14.Daily monitoring graphite consumptions
• 15.Operators incentive file updated monthly basis
• 16.preparing monthly performance reports
• 17.Daily discussed die availability with tool room team .
• 18. Daily discussed production plan with PPC team
• 19.Weekly Plan prepared and share concern department
• 20.Dailydicussed with maintenance team for machine breakdown
• 21.Operator skill matrix updated for 6month once
• 22.Verification of graphite concentration on daily basis
• 23.Verification of Billet storage area tag audit
• 24.Shopfloor 5s audit done on daily basis
• 25.Circular saw blade and band saw blade follow-up
