Job summary

BVR People Consulting is seeking an engineering professional to design and develop wiring devices (switches, sockets, plates) and to manage end-to-end product development from concept to production. The role involves CAD modeling, tolerance analyses, and applying GD&T/DFMEA/PFMEA while coordinating with Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling, Procurement, and Vendors.

Qualifications

• Design and development of wiring devices, switches, sockets and plates.
• End-to-end product development from concept to production.
• Design of plastic, sheet metal and electromechanical components.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools.
• Apply GD&T, DFMEA, PFMEA and DFM/DFA; perform tolerance analysis.
• Drive NPD, value engineering and cost reduction projects.
• Support prototype development, testing and validation.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling, Procurement and Vendors.
• Ensure compliance with BIS/IEC/ISO standards.
• Support design improvements and product lifecycle management.
