Job summary

Electro Pneumatics and Hydraulics India Pvt Ltd is seeking a design engineer to work on detailed engineering for strategic products and projects. You will develop new machine concepts, prepare solid models, BOMs and release drawings to support ECNs.

The role requires hands-on CAD experience (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and a solid grasp of engineering materials and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of NDT and QC procedures is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic engineering calculations and design methods.
• Knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with NDT techniques and QC procedures.
• Experience with DFMEA, DFM&A and DOE is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Detailed engineering for strategic products and projects.
• Development of new machine/equipment concepts.
• Preparation of solid models for components, sub-assemblies and systems.
• Preparation of BOMs and release of drawings, BOMs and ECNs.

Provide design support during assembly, integration and testing

Preferred candidate profile

Hands on experience of CAD software like Creo, SolidWorks and AutoCAD

Basic engineering calculation and practice

Knowledge about engineering material and manufacturing processes

Knowledge about NDT and various QC procedure

Knowledge of design tools DFMEA, DFM&A and DOE will be an added advantage
