Vistra, based in Mumbai (Vikhroli), is seeking a Senior Associate - Billing to manage end-to-end invoicing and billing operations. Reporting to the Manager - Billing, the role is full-time with a hybrid work arrangement and regional coverage.

You will ensure accurate invoices, resolve disputes, reconcile billing with revenue, and support audits. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce or related field and 2–3 years of billing experience are required, with proficiency in SAP, Oracle,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in commerce or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in customer billing or revenue operations.
• Experience in high-volume, complex billing environments.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end billing and credit note processing.
• Hands-on experience with billing systems and ERPs (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate - Billing. Reporting to the Manager - Billing, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai (Vikhroli) and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our department and its growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Accurate invoice generation Ensure prices, quantities, taxes, discounts, and billing periods are correct.
• Timely billing - Issue invoices on schedule to avoid cash-flow delays and customer complaints.
• Usage and charge validation - Verify billable usage or services before invoicing.
• Dispute and query resolution - Handle billing questions, adjustments, credits, and corrections promptly.
• Reconciliation & reporting - Reconcile billing with revenue, generate reports, and support audits.
• System maintenance - Use and maintain billing systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Cross-functional coordination - Partner with Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and Service Delivery for resolving any dispute
• Invoice delivery - Send invoices via SAP, email, portal, or customer-preferred methods.
• Billing inquiries - Investigate discrepancies and explain charges clearly to customers.
• Root cause analysis - Identify recurring billing issues and implement preventive fixes.
• Audit support - Provide billing evidence, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and risk awareness
• Ability to document processes, maintain SOPs, and enforce governance standards

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's/master's degree in commerce, Accounting, Business or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in customer billing, accounts receivable, or revenue operations
• Experience in high-volume, complex billing environments (e.g., multi-product, multi-currency)
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end billing & credit note processing
• Hands-on experience with billing systems and ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Salesforce)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Advance Excel, Word & PPT)
• Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end billing & credit note processing
