Job summary

Carrier is seeking a strategic Service Modernization specialist in India to drive retrofit growth across the installed base. You will identify aging equipment for upgrades, lead full modernization cycles, and generate retrofit opportunities through site assessments and technical consultations.

• Develop and execute strategies for Service Modernization (Retrofit) growth across the installed base.
• Identify aging equipment requiring upgrades, modernization, energy-efficiency improvements, and regulatory enhancements.
• Generate retrofit sales opportunities through customer engagement, site assessments, and technical consultations.
• Lead the modernization lifecycle from opportunity identification, through proposal, costing, negotiations, order booking and handover.
• Drive AMC recapture initiatives by analyzing expired and lost maintenance contracts and planning recovery actions.
• Coordinate with service operations, sales and branch leadership to improve retention and contract renewals.

• Identify aging equipment requiring upgrades, modernization, energy-efficiency improvements, and regulatory compliance enhancements.
• Generate retrofit sales opportunities through customer engagement, site assessments, and technical consultations.
• Lead the complete modernization business cycle, including opportunity identification, proposal development, costing, negotiations, order booking, and project handover.
• Drive AMC recapture initiatives by analyzing expired and lost maintenance contracts and developing targeted recovery plans.
• Work closely with service operations, sales teams, and branch leadership to improve customer retention and contract renewal rates.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, consultants, facility managers, and decision-makers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to strengthen modernization offerings.
• Ensure achievement of revenue, margin, order booking, and AMC recapture targets.
• Develop periodic business reviews, forecasting, pipeline management, and performance dashboards.
• Coordinate with technical and project execution teams to ensure timely completion of modernization projects and customer satisfaction.
