Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Sr Mgr, Quality Assurance to own the execution of QA plans in Sricity and lead a team of experienced QA professionals. You will set tactical and operational QA initiatives to enable continuous quality improvement across manufacturing processes.

The role requires developing guidelines and processes to hit quality targets, guiding projects, and driving data-driven decisions to reduce COPQ and escapes.

• Develops and manages plans, guidelines, policies and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets.
• Leads implementation of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
• Oversees quality improvement processes to ensure on‑going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.
• Manages teams collecting and analyzing quality information from multiple sources to develop long‑term quality strategy and programs.
• Manages teams providing production process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement.

About the role

Owns the execution of key elements of Quality Assurance operational plans. May lead of team of primarily experienced Quality Assurance professionals or a team responsible for Quality Assurance for an organization of small size or scope. Sets tactical and operational plans in support of continuous quality improvement. Provides guidance in the implementation of Quality Assurance plans and procedures.
