Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a Jr-mid-senior App Deployment Engineer in Bengaluru/Bangalore to manage a client project. The candidate should be passionate about technology and experienced in administration and migration.

You will deploy and troubleshoot applications across Windows platforms and VDI, participate in testing, document procedures, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth deliveries, with a focus on reliable packaging and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in application deployment using SCCM.
• Good knowledge of App-V environments.
• Good knowledge of Citrix environments.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications across Windows platforms and VDI.
• Strong process knowledge and lifecycle management of packaging and deployment.
• Experience in Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and support deployments.
• Experience with documentation of deployment procedures and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Manage a deployment project for a client.

• Create and maintain deployment/packaging documentation and runbooks.

Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad

A Jr-mid-senior level Application deployment engineer to manage a project for one of our client. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in administration and migration.

Technical Skills

• Mandatory:
• Minimum 5+ Years’ Experience in Application Deployment using SCCM.
• Good understanding on App-V environment.
• Good Knowledge on Citrix Environment.
• Exposure & experience in deploying and troubleshooting applications across all the platforms (Win 7/10/Server & VDI’s)
• Excellent process knowledge and lifecycle Management of the packaging & deployment.
• Participate in testing and successful deployment of software to all applicable supported platforms.
• Good knowledge on Wintel (DFS, Storage, Networking, AD).
• Knowledge on SQL, WQL, WMI, PowerShell & VB Scripting
• Create and maintain documentation for deployment/packaging, administrative procedures, architecture, known errors, workarounds and application specific information.
• Experience in Incident, Problem and Change Management process
• Good to have:
• Minimum 2 years’ Experience in Application Deployment using APPV Management console (virtualized application) for Physical & Virtual environments.
• Administer SCCM software delivery, including various methods such as running advertised programs, machine targeted, user targeted, Application Library, and Software Center.

Behavioral Skills

• Resolve technical issues of projects and Explore alternate designs
• Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
• Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction

Qualification

• Flexible in supporting any shifts ( 24/7) Including Night Shift.
• Education qualification: B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M. Tech or equivalent technical degree from a reputed college
