Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a senior Application Packaging engineer to lead packaging projects for a client. The role requires expertise in Windows packaging, MSI packaging with AdminStudio, and App-V sequencing, with strong experience in Citrix and deployment lifecycle.

The candidate should be capable of managing teams and shifts, and adept at documenting processes, testing, and deployments across Windows platforms and VDI environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of Windows packaging experience.
• MSI packaging using AdminStudio expertise.
• App-V Sequencer for application virtualization.
• Knowledge of Numecent CP Packaging is a plus.
• Hands-on in App-V environments.
• Citrix environment knowledge.
• Packaging across Win7/10/Server/VDIs and troubleshooting.
• Strong process discipline for packaging/deployment lifecycle.
• Participate in testing and deployments across platforms.
• PowerShell and VBScript scripting experience.
• Create/maintain deployment/packaging docs and runbooks.
• Experience in Incident, Problem & Change management.
• App-V Management Console for physical/virtual envs.

We are looking for a senior level Application Packaging engineer to manage a project for one of our clients. The individual should be passionate about technology and experienced in administration of team and shift.

Technical Skills

• Mandatory:
• Minimum 6 years of Experience in Application Packaging on Windows
• Experience in MSI Application packaging using Adminstudio
• Experience in application virtualization using Microsoft App-v Sequencer
• Good to have knowledge of Numecent Cloud Paging (CP Packaging)
• Hands on experience in App-V environment
• Good Knowledge on Citrix Environment
• Exposure & experience in Packaging and troubleshooting applications across all the platforms (Win 7/10/Server & VDI's)
• Excellent process knowledge and lifecycle Management of the packaging & deployment
• Participate in testing and successful deployment of software to all applicable supported platforms.
• Hands on experience in PowerShell & VB Scripting
• Create and maintain documentation for deployment/packaging, administrative procedures, architecture, known errors, workarounds and application specific information.
• Experience in Incident, Problem and Change Management process
• Good to have:
• Experience in Application Deployment using APPV Management console (virtualized application) for Physical & Virtual environments.
