Job summary

Uniquemindz Early Intervention Center in Bengaluru, India, seeks a compassionate Speech Therapist to assess and treat children with communication disorders.

You'll conduct assessments, develop individualized plans and deliver therapy using ABA, AAC, OPT, and other evidence-based approaches, while collaborating with families.

A Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy is required; a Master's is preferred, with 0–3 years’ experience in pediatric settings and comfort with remote consultations if needed.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of children's communication skills, including speech, language, voice quality, articulation, fluency, and cognitive abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results to address identified needs.
• Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), Oral Placement Therapy (OPT), and other therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate with parents/caregivers to develop strategies for carrying out therapy activities at home.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate regularly with families about treatment outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 0-3 years of experience working with children with special needs or disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis and treatment options.
• Proficiency in using technology-based tools for remote consultations if required.
• Familiarity with Indian English language spoken by local population.
